Delivery and Returns
Delivery Charges and times:
Deliveries to Channels Islands & UK are free.
We will ensure that the ceramics you have ordered from us are delivered to you without undue delay and in any event not more than 30 days after the date of the Dispatch Confirmation. Details of estimated delivery times are given on the Site and prior to submitting your order to us. We’ll all work very hard to meet the delivery times quoted on our site but please bear in mind that these are estimates, and postal services aren’t always as reliable as we’d like them to be! At times of public holidays, e.g. Christmas, delivery may take a little longer. Please read the Terms and Conditions page about what happens if there is an Event Outside Our Control, which results in a delay in delivery or failure to deliver the product. If there is an Event Outside Our Control, we will contact you to discuss what will happen next.
Depending on the number of ceramics you order from us and whether or not the ceramics you have ordered are available for delivery at the same time, we may split the ceramics you have ordered from us across a number of separate deliveries.
We use national courier services, Jersey Post and Royal Mail, depending on the type and size of ceramics ordered, and a signature is usually required on delivery.
The ceramics will be your responsibility from the completion of delivery. You should check all ceramics you receive against your order as soon as possible to make sure they reflect what you ordered and that they are not damaged or are not as described. If you discover that the ceramics do not reflect what you ordered, are damaged or are not as described you must tell us as soon as reasonably possible after discovering this, either by email or by letter addressed to the address shown in clause 18. You must also return the ceramics to us as soon as reasonably practicable
Recycling is very important to Jane James and we’re looking to use as much eco packaging as possible. Our tissue paper and labels are environmentally friendly and we recycle boxes and padded envelopes. We want you to be happy with the standard of packaging used and welcome any feedback.
Our website can only process deliveries to Jersey, the Channel Islands and the UK.
If you are outside of these destinations and would like to order from us please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss and arrange a quote. Please note that international customers are responsible for any import charges/duties that may be incurred and must comply with any local regulations.
Please ensure that your delivery address details are correct. We can’t be held responsible for any delivery problems that may arise due to incorrect address details. A lot of our couriers require a signature on delivery. If you indicate that a package can be left at your home or with a neighbour, this is at your own risk. Some couriers do not like to leave parcels unless signed for by the customer, so we can’t guarantee delivery if you are unable to receive the parcel yourself.
Returns and Refunds:
We hope you are happy with your purchases from Jane James but understand that occasionally you may wish to return an item and seek a refund. If this is the case you need to let us know in writing no longer than 14 days after the date on which you received the ceramics.
Please email us on email@example.com with your contact details, your order details and let us know why you are returning an item so that we can put things right for you. You’ll then be sent a returns address and details of how to proceed.
Please return your item in good condition, ideally with its original packaging within 14 working days from the date you received the ceramics. The refund includes the original delivery charge but please note that we’re unable to offer free returns at this time.
If you’re returning a product because it is faulty we will pay the return delivery costs.
If you return goods to us, please use an insured method of dispatch and obtain proof of posting. We can’t accept liability for returned goods being lost or damaged in transit.
We will refund to you on the credit card or debit card used by you to pay us for the ceramics. In any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.
Our right not to accept orders and applicable refund:
We may decide not to accept an order from you for ceramics. If we do so, if you have made any payment in advance for the Products, we will refund you the full amount you have paid as soon as possible.
Limitation of Liability:
Our liability to you for our breaking these terms and conditions is limited to refunding any money you have already paid for the ceramic which you have not received from us.
